The Faculty trains professionals who work in public institutions, private enterprises, or run their own businesses in the field of livestock product processing and production as well as professionals for customs and border forces.
The pride of the faculty is the Hog Slat Training Lab where specialists in animal husbandry are trained, and opportunities for prevention of African swine fever spreading are explored. In addition, the Faculty has all the necessary bases for conducting research in various fields. A number of scientific developments of the Faculty of Biology and Technology are put in production.
Students and scientists of the Faculty participate regularly in the programs of educational and academic mobility in Denmark, Poland, Germany, and other countries.
