The Faculty trains agronomists, plant protection specialists, ecologists, masters of landscape design and forestry, tourism professionals, etc. A new, promising direction of training is biotechnology and bioengineering, which makes it possible to train specialists who will be engaged in human health protection, natural resource restoration, and sustainability support.
The Faculty has a research and production complex. It includes not only the research fields but also the breeding and seed-growing complex, and the educational-practical center, along with the greenhouse complex, educational-scientific garden, arboretum, and park-monument of landscape art «Kyianytsia».
Students and postgraduates from China, Pakistan, and Ghana study and carry out scientific research at the Faculty. Faculty staff conduct scientific and educational projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine,ERASMUS +, DAAD, EBRD, FAO.
