Czech Development Agency is a state organization under the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The vision of the Agency is as follows:
- It focuses its activities on the poorest and most vulnerable groups in poor countries and improves conditions that determine the quality of their lives.
- It makes effective use of resources and experience of the Czech Republic and provides sustainable solutions in less developed countries.
- It supports civil society and local process of change that leads to a fairer society.
- It engages the private sector in developing solutions and supports an environment that enables economic growth, entrepreneurship and the influx of investment into partner countries.
- It emphasizes cross-cutting values of the Agency: partnership, sustainability and transparency.
Since 2017, SNAU is a partner of the project “Enhancement of Capacity Building Process in Quality of Education and Research at SNAU and SSU”, jointly with Sumy State University, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and under the financial support of Czech Development Agency.
Moreover, in 2015 SNAU became a partner of the project “Support in Harmonization of Introduction of Bologna Principles at Ukrainian Agri-Universities, case study SNAU” jointly with Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and under the financial support of Czech Development Agency.
The next stage of cooperation was the implementation of a joint international project of the Czech University of Life Science in Prague and Sumy NAU, Sumy State University, Bila Tserkva NAU “Support of young university capacity in education and research and science activities in Ukraine” (2019).
The new joint international project of Czech University of Life Science in Prague, Sumy NAU, Sumy State University, Bila Tserkva NAU and Dnipro SAEU entitled “Inter-University Cooperation As A Tool To Improve The Quality Of Selected Universities Of Ukraine“ was launched (implemented until 2020).
The new joint international project of the Czech University of Life Science in Prague, Sumy NAU, State University, Bila Tserkva NAU and Dnipro SAEU entitled “AgriSciences Platform for Scientific Enhancement of HEIs in Ukraine” was launched. (implemented until 2021).
