 Activity:

The Centre for Co-operation with Foreign Students is a structural subdivision of Sumy National Agrarian University, which was created to improve the efficiency of work with foreign students and trainees, organizations, and institutions located in other countries.

The main task of the Centre is the organization of the recruitment of foreign students for study, as well as the coordination of all forms of educational, scientific, and methodical work, which is aimed at ensuring a high level of training of foreigners in the system of continuous higher education from pre-university training to doctoral studies.

The work of the Centre is aimed at solving the following main tasks:

-the implementation of state policy at the university aimed at improving the quality of professional training of foreign students;

-the search for companies with the aim of attracting foreigners to study at the university;

-the provision of informational support to foreigners on the issues of receiving invitations to study at the university and issuing visas, admission and enrolment conditions, recognition and apostillation of educational documents, as well as stay on the territory of Ukraine;

-the preparation of information on the provision of educational services and conditions of stay of foreigners on the territory of Ukraine with the aim of increasing the number of foreign students;

-the co-ordination, together with the admissions committee, related to the admission and enrolment of foreigners to study at the university in accredited specialties;

-the receiving of the documents, carrying out the enrolment procedure and organizing the training of foreigners at the preparatory department;

-the receiving of the documents, implementing the enrolment procedure and co-ordinating issues related to the study of foreign students at the faculties;

-the putting of the foreigners who are the students of SNAU into the migration register according to their place of stay, co-operation with the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Sumy region;

-the assistance to foreign students in issuing a certificate of equivalence of education level (nostrification), the co-operation with the State Organization of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine “Ukrainian State Centre of International Education”, “Information and Image Centre”.
