How to apply for an entry visa?
To obtain an entry visa for study in Ukraine, you must:
apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in your or a neighboring country with an application for an entry visa for study in Ukraine;
Add an invitation to study from Sumy National Agrarian University to the application.
Please note that the application for an entry visa may take about 1 month, so you must send the documents specified in the section “How to obtain an invitation to study” no later than 2 months before classes start. After receiving a type “D” visa for study, you must inform the Center for Work with Foreign Students (snauinterstud@gmail.com) of the date, time, and arrival in Ukraine, flight number, and route, to issue a letter for a meeting.
Arrival in Ukraine
For citizens of countries with a visa regime for entry into Ukraine, it is necessary to submit a package of documents for opening a long-term (student) visa (type D visa) to the Embassy of Ukraine in your country. Requirements for document processing and the procedure for applying to the embassy to open a visa should be clarified on the website of the Embassy of Ukraine in your country. https://mfa.gov.ua/en/foreign-diplomatic-institutions-ukraine
In addition to the documents required for opening a visa, the original invitation to study in Ukraine must be submitted to the Embassy of Ukraine.
After receiving a type “D” visa for study, it is necessary to inform the Center for Work with Foreign Students (snauinterstud@gmail.com) of the date and time of your arrival in Ukraine, flight number, and connection (route) to issue a letter for a meeting.
