Sumy International College HINT is a Chinese-Ukrainian educational institution jointly founded by Henan Institute of Science and Technology and Sumy National Agrarian University. The first intake of higher education applicants occurred in 2022 with 298 students. Currently, the college has more than 500 students.
The college offers training in four specialties:
- veterinary medicine;
- agronomy;
- management;
- food technology.
The main goal of the college is to create an international, high-quality, and unique institution, jointly managed by China and Ukraine, to train specialists with interdisciplinary talents in the field of agricultural sciences.
The educational process is carried out jointly by Ukrainian and Chinese teachers. Upon completion of the course, students receive two diplomas – from Henan Institute and SNAU, which provides them international recognition of their qualifications.
As part of the cooperation, SNAU teachers regularly visit the Henan Institute to conduct lectures and practical classes. In particular, in 2024 and 2025, the SNAU delegation conducted a 40-day internship, during which they taught subjects in their profiles and organized English conversation clubs for Chinese students.
This educational project contributes to the international integration of Ukrainian higher education and opens up new opportunities for students from both countries. College graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies or start professional activities both in Ukraine and in China.
